The title is “Four Months With an M1 MacBook Pro” and the subhead is “The magic is gone.”

I then explain all the reasons the laptop is letting me down, from the speed no longer seeming fast to the fact that I’m not traveling to coffee shops as much as I assumed I would.

The twist is that Apple’s advertising didn’t oversell the specs, and yet I’m still disappointed. A classic hedonistic treadmill problem.

Can you explain why you felt let down by the title?
