Two More Slowbots!
Last year I was inspired by a project by Brian Boyer called Very Slow Movie Player. I decided to try my hand at it and ended up with two Twitter bots that lasted all year. One for Lost in Translation, and one for My Neighbour Totoro.
I’m happy to report that both bots will be coming back next year! I’ve really enjoyed seeing the movies unfold over the course of the year on my timeline. So much so that I’d like to do it again in 2020. And to join the family of bots I’d like to introduce two new ones! One for Grand Budapest Hotel and one for Spirited Away, both stunningly beautiful movies.
And as an additional bonus, I just found out about Yearlong Koyaanisqatsi, a bot doing the same thing with the movie Koyaanisqatsi. I’m not sure if it will keep going through 2020, but I hope so!
